Chairs from our Tech PU range are used by several different teams at the FIA World Endurance Championship, allowing engineers to operate at the best of their ability.
Used in the pit and pit wall by teams including American Chevrolet Corvette and Porsche Motorsport, we provide seating to Greaves 3D engineering, who manufacture all pit equipment for the event. The WEC is the world’s biggest endurance racing series, comprised of eight races taking place in locations all over the world. One of the most iconic sporting events in the world, the Le Mans 24 hour, is the pinnacle of the Championship and is watched by more than 250,000 spectators each year.

Providing comfort and support in extreme environments
Our chairs are moved between each race as part of the pit equipment, providing engineers with comfort and practicality in what can be an extremely demanding environment. The durability of the Tech PU range is invaluable to the teams that we supply seating for, which also includes Cadillac and BMW Motorsport.
Robust, easy to clean and waterproof, the chairs are perfect for the intense environment of the pit and stand up to all of the challenges provided.

When the phrase ‘are you sitting comfortably?’ really matters
Our director, Mark Williams, explains the importance of having the correct seating in these types of environment.
“When these major car manufacturers compete in endurance races they need their Racing Team Engineers to be seated ergonomically while they make their strategic decisions,” he explains.
“This is extremely important as the races can last up to 24 hours – like Le Mans and Daytona. Techsit chairs do this for them.”
Next up in the series is the Eight Hours of Bahrain, taking place over the 4th and 5th of November.
